This last Friday we made it out to Grand Rapids to play Grand Woods Lounge. What a night, these guys know how to party! They were packed, absolutely packed, with a line going down the road. You were amazing Woods! We can't wait to come back and do it to you again; see you July 28th!!!
Thanks to everyone that came out to M89 Sports Bar & Grill last night. We had a great turnout, especially for a holiday weekend, and a ton of fun!
Saturday evening we continued the weekend at a new venue for us during the 90s pub crawl in downtown Grand Rapids – Flanagan’s Irish Pub. You guys rocked so hard!!! What a fun time. More dates have been added, so keep an eye out for those in the coming days!
We are happy to welcome Jeff Conklin (Sound Man Jeff or SMJ), as our sound and lighting engineer. Jeff brings 30 years of live and studio mixing experience to DC90, and the band sounds and looks better than ever! Come see and hear what SMJ brings to the mix on March 31 at The Union Cabaret & Grille and April 1 at The Dock At Bayview.
Hey Weirdos! Our most excellent drummer, Jeff Lawrence, is going to be part of the band for Farmers Alley Theater's performance of Toxic Avenger! Lots of great rockin music, and a great and fun story! So, go support our boy, Jeff, and see this show!!
Wednesday Venue Spotlight: Black River Tavern in South Haven The BRT has been the sight of some of our best shows, and we just want to share this awesome spot with all of you. The staff is awesome, the food is spectacular, and their entertainment is always top-notch. Grab the Italian beef sandwich, it's INCREDIBLE, and then grab a drink from the bar (they've always got awesome craft beer on tap!), and get ready for a night of music! Plus, before you see a show there, get tickets for Comedy Night downstairs! Talk about a one-stop-shop!
Hey all!! Papa B here. First off- Happy New Year! Secondly, thank you so much to those of you that came out to The Union and Black River Tavern this weekend. We had two pretty awesome shows (if I do say so myself), and BRT flat out ROCKED in the new year!
We will be taking the majority of the winter off for Jeff and I to take part in some other projects (a musical for Jeff in Kalamazoo, and I'll be part of a benefit show in Allegan). I'll be sure to let you guys know about both as we get closer to them in case you'd like to come see us outside of DC-90. As we go about our "hibernation," we will putting together a bunch of new songs to come out with in the spring, so be ready for a whole bunch of new music the next time you see us! Have a fantastic winter, and we'll be gettin weird soon enough!
